1. Tim Southee had his third most expensive bowling figures of his ODI career of 2-85. Interestingly 5 of his top 7 expensive figures have all been against India, including his most expensive (0-105 in March 2009).
2. Bumrah was the only Indian bowler to concede less than 60 runs and only bowler from both sides to do so having finished the full quota of 10 overs. Among all the current players who have played from Jan 1 2015 till date, Bumrah is among the only four bowlers with an economy rate of under 4.6(minimum qualification of playing 50+ matches). Stamazers – Second ODI – India Vs New Zealand (Feb 8, 2020)

1. Hamish Bennett claimed his first One day international wicket in nearly three years. He returned to one day international cricket only in this series and went wicketless in the first game.

2. Ross Taylor has been unbeaten on three of his last 5 one day international innings against India (all in New Zealand).

3. Virat Kohli has now been dismissed by Tim Southee on 6 occasions, the most Southee has dismissed among all batsmen. This incidentally is the first instance of Kohli being bowled by Southee in Limited overs Internationals.

4. Shreyas Iyer has now scored 210 runs in 5 ODIs in 2020, including 11 runs combined in his first two matches this year.

5. India’s last win in an One-dayer in Auckland vs New Zealand was in 2003. Since then, they have tied a game, won Zimbabwe and lost twice to New Zealand.
