  2. Shikhar Dhawan (8) though is still among the top 5 run getters is having a lean patch since the tournament restart in the UAE as he has scored just 82 runs in 4 innings since then.
  3. Ashwin is slowly back among the wickets after a wicketless patch (5 matches) and has been among the wickets in his last 3 matches.
  4. Delhi Capitals has now won four of their last 5 matches and has also extracted revenge for the loss to the Mumbai Indians in the IPL final last year in the UAE as well.

  1. The loss is Delhi Capital’s (DC) first in its last 5 matches and just their third in 11 matches.
  2. Tim Southee made his IPL 2021 debut in this game. He is also playing in an IPL match since 2019. He has however claimed just 2 wickets in his last 7 IPL matches including one in this match.
  3. Eoin Morgan’s (0) bad run with the bat continues as he has scored just 99 runs in 9innings including three single digit scores and three ducks.
  4. Shubman Gill (30) still hasn’t scored a fifty in this IPL and has scored just 232 runs in 11 innings at a sub-par average of 21 for an opening batsman.
  5. Varun Chakravarthy has bowled his entire quota of four overs in all the 11 matches he has played and has remained wicketless only on 4 matches including this match.
